Employer Branding Club is the brainchild of Employer Brand Strategist Steve Ward, who felt the industry lacked specific employer brand community and events for in-house practitioners.
In 2020 he started the community with the first online event, during the pandemic: 230 people registered. Since then, it has been a consistent event on the calendar: from evening gatherings, to subject specialist events and industry roundtables.
Steve is an independent employer brand consultant helping organisations deliver effective, strategic, insights-led employer brands across the globe.

Steve hosts every EBClub event and shapes the calendar around what practitioners are actually wrestling with that quarter. He's the one on the ground with members: gathering topics, lining up speakers, working with our partners and ambassadors, and making sure each session earns its place on a busy calendar. Beyond EBClub, Steve consults independently on employer brand strategy, work that keeps him close to the problems the community is solving in real time.
